THE EFFECT OF NEOLOID ON TELEPAQUE CHOLECYSTOGRAPHY

R. WILLIAM MCCONNELL M.D.1 and REED P. RICE M.D.1

1 From the Department of Radiology, Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina

A series of 103 neoloid-prepared barium enema patients had cholecystographies compared with 103 cholecystographies done on patients who did not receive neoloid.

Our results indicate that there is no appreciable interference with the absorption of telepaque by neoloid administered several hours prior to the telepaque.
