OLGA M. BAGHDASSARIAN M.D.1 and SEYMOUR WEINER M.D.1

1 From the Department of Radiology, The Johns Hopkins University and Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland

Three patients who developed pneumatoceles following hydrocarbon pneumonia are reported. The pathogenesis, course and prognosis are discussed. All 3 patients progressed to complete recovery without evidence of superimposed infection or additional complication.
