Twelve patients with postoperative aneurysm of the right ventricular outflow tract after corrective surgery for pulmonic valvar stenosis, ventricular septal defect and tetralogy of Fallot are reported. The literature is reviewed and the pathogenesis is discussed. Different diagnostic tests are evaluated stressing the role of roentgen examinations and the importance of careful follow-up by intercalative chest roentgenography.
