In a series of 14 cases of left ventricular aneurysm, findings consistent with the diagnosis were present in only 6 cases at conventional roentgen examination of the chest. Left ventricular angiocardiography provided the correct diagnosis as well as information on left ventricular function in 13 of the cases.
